Who We Are.
The Uganda Boston Community Association was founded in 2013 as a non-profit organization to unite all Ugandans residing in the state of Massachusetts under one leadership for a common interest to foster growth and development.

Vision
Ugandans in Boston are a richly a diverse community from different tribal, economic and religious background. The community is very fragmented into various social and economic clusters but has maintained a stable social cohesion for the last 30 year since the first Immigrants from Uganda come to USA specifically to Massachusetts. However, the association has a vision to strategically think of ways and real means to move the community to a higher and more integrated level to meet the current challenging social, economic, legal and political situations that are undermine the community’s real existence and growth by uniting it into one strong force with one voice.
Our Objectives
- Enhance awareness of social, economic and legal issues
- Strengthen partnership and connect efforts among all Ugandan organizations in massachusetts under one leadership
- Invest in the community
- Develop programs that benefit all Ugandans
- Promote volunteerism active participation in the Ugandan Community
There are many advantages to being a member of Uganda Boston Community Association. We believe the biggest benefit is your invaluable contribution to helping the Ugandan Community in Boston become a more vibrant and informed community. Your support allows UBCA to provide workshops and forums that cover such issues as education, health, immigration and International Women’s Day forum. Being part of UBCA also allows members to be part of meaningful volunteer opportunities that make our community stronger. It is a chance to learn new skills and offers opportunities for networking.
